Redstone is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise! Redstone is nearly surrounded by the White River National Forest which includes the Maroon Bells Wilderness Area. Visitors to Redstone enjoy world class recreational activities:

During the beautiful spring, summer and fall months, enjoy fishing, mountain biking, camping, backpacking, horseback riding, jeep tours, hiking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, hunting and photography.

In the winter months, enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice climbing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and some of the area's best cross-country skiing.. Downhill skiing is just 35 miles away! Ice climbers come to climb Redstone's many frozen waterfalls, such as "The Redstone Pillar," pictured below.
